Phew. Who knew there was so many different types of yoga? And we haven’t even started on the studios yet.

So, we’re going to make it a little easier for you. We have picked our top four favourite yoga studios in Sydney.

Drumroll, please.

Flow Athletic, Paddington:

Flow Athletic is the brainchild of Sydney super yogi Kate Kendall and personal trainer Ben Lucas. The gym combines all things yoga and strength. But we’re only talking about yoga in this post. It was at Flow Athletic that I reignited my passion for yoga. A class with the ever-soothing voice of Kate (or one of the studio’s other amazing teachers) will always take you on a journey out of your head and into your heart. You are sure to find a class to suit you. Hello, calmness.

 

Power Living
It you like it heated, this is the place to go. They do power workouts in 30-degree heat. This is the perfect place to add a little more of a workout to your yoga. There are enough instructors to bring variety and make sure you can pick the kind of class you like. But be warned, it gets hot and you’ll get flowing. Bring a sweatband 😉

Body Mind Life:

I’m a newcomer to this gym, but have fallen in love with the Bondi studio. Teachers take you through the perfect flow, backed by beautiful playlists of soulful and inspiring tunes. These classes challenge and soothe at the some time, but also offer a twist of fun every time. Definitely a favourite.

The Secret Yoga Society:


Like the sound of yoga, friends, food and wine, all in the same evening? The location isn’t revealed until the night, and it’s an exciting and fun way to make new friends, try some new yoga moves and afterwards enjoy some delicious food and wine. This is my pick for yoga with a twist!
