Falling for the Slow.

Guess what?

I haven’t been running around like a crazy person and I seem to have more hours in my day.

I know, this baffles me as well

I use to believe & project, “I don’t have enough time.”

Or, “I’m running out of time.”

And guess what?! I wouldn’t have enough time.

It didn’t matter how early I started my day or how organised I was with my time.

You guessed it, “I didn’t have enough time.”

Again, I was running to catch up with life.

But then I realised, it’s all in my head. (LITERALLY).

Most probably from my Journalism days when the deadline was always an hour ago. However, I’m no longer in the media industry, so it’s time to change my mentality.

I just got sick of going fast.. so I slowed down.

I decided to move with Intention & make presence my number one desire.

I decided to be in every moment as it arrived.

And guess what happened when I slowed down?

“I have so much time.”

“There is so much time.”

“I can enjoy all the things I love and still have time for me.”

This has become my mantra and literally, I have been getting SO much done and enjoying the journey because I have been SLOWING DOWN.

I cannot tell you this enough.

I know in yoga, it’s spoken about all the time.

However, I would be the one who was running to yoga and storming in 5 minutes late (Everytime).

Until, I changed my mind.

Quite simply.

Changed the mantra.

“There is plenty of time.”

“I have so much time.”

And guess what, time has slowed down.

I’m enjoying the journey so much more because of this slower pace.

I’ve fallen in love with the slow.

I dare you to try it.

Jump our of the vortex and simply change your mind…

“There is plenty of time, I can go slow.”

A few little thoughts from me.

Love Danielle.
